Rack Repair

Bouder Mechanical Services is now able to offer you numerous methods of repairing damaged pallet rack frames.  None require unloading and dismantling your rack system if  we perform the work .

  1. Damo-Pro bolt on fixture
    The pallets on the floor on both sides of the damaged frame are removed.  The weight is taken off of the damaged leg.  The damaged area of the frame leg and bracing is cut away.  Then a fabricated replacement unit is bolted onto the remaining frame.
     

  2. WPSS bolt on fixture
    The pallets on the floor on both sides of the damaged frame are removed.  The weight is taken off of the damaged leg.  The damaged area of the frame leg and bracing is cut away.  Then a fabricated replacement unit is bolted onto the remaining frame.
     

  3. NEW - Generation 3 
    Our generation 3 bolt on fixture is less expensive than the Damo-Pro units. 
    This kit consists of rectangular steel tubing 3" X 1 1/2" X  3/16" wall with our safety orange power coating. 
    Front to back mounting hardware consists of two 1/2" grade 5 carriage bolts, locks and nuts with rear back up plates. 
    Side mounting hardware consists of four 1/2" grade 5 bolts, locks and nuts. 
    We recommend 1/2" X 4" concrete stud anchors 2 per unit. 
    We will fabricate and install or ship to you for you to install 
     

  4. The Magnum PRP-1
    If you have stand up reach trucks, narrow aisle trucks or others like it you will know what I am talking about when I say that you find most damage to your rack frames are located at the lower six inches. This is usually caused by the out riggers on your lift truck

    This causes a dangerous situation and needs to be attended to promptly. Most times 98% of the frame is still in good shape.

    Don’t discard the frame anymore or just ignore the damage and let your self wide open for a liability claim. Repair it, permanently, and protect it from future damage by installing our Magnum post repair protector kit.

    Our kit is fabricated from 3/8 hot rolled steel.

    The foot plate is 3” wide x 10” long

    We provide for mounting. One 7/8” front hole for a 3/4” anchor along with a rugged bull nose & Two  3/4” holes for a 5/8 anchor in the rear, only one hole is used in the rear position .

    The face plate would bolt directly to your existing frame. There are Six 1/2” mounting holes located in the face plate you would use 3/8 bolts, locks & nuts to secure it to the rack frame

    Concrete anchors and related hardware not provided

    Your cost plus applicable   tax and freight charges

  5. Total Replacement
    Replacement of the pallet rack frame is always an option that we can perform for you as well.
